Spring 2007 The Wiz II: Dorothy Goes to College
"The Wiz II" will follow Dorothy as a high school student who daydreams about going to college. As Dorothy travels down the yellow brick road, she visits various schools such as UCLA and Clark Atlanta University, and meets new friends along the way. Pamoja dancers will ad their own twist to this classic story by performing to modern day songs that will be sure to captivate and entertain the audience!

Fall 2006 The Rhythm of Romance: Romeo and Juliet
Pamoja Dance Company will depict, through dance, the tragic story of Juliet and her Romeo. The songs chosen will portray the emotions evoked through this popular tale. You will experience Shakespeare’s most admired play, but with a modern day twist. From Romeo and Juliet’s initial meeting to their ultimate demise every moment of the show will captivate your attention. We hope you will enjoy the show as if you were reading the story itself. Sit back and relax as we retell this timeless classic through "The Rhythm of Romance!"

The decade before the new millenium was a revolutionary period for the dance movement. With artists such as En Vogue and Busta Rhymes, and dancers such as the Fly Girls, the 90s was a period to remember. We love the 90s and grew up listening to artists who have contibuted to our love for music. So, join us as we honor the notable nineties through dance.
